MMM I love the title and the way you let his car stand out - this would have been a total winner on a selected color competition - fantastic drawing with excellent details - great use of space and excellent in story telling - it is well balanced between the background in pencil stele and the 2D car in reality style - great initial impact , well done

Nice entry into the contest. I like how you added the notes relating to the history of this taxi called the Ambassador. This almost looks like a New York City taxi. Nice sketch and color. Good luck in the contest

Your drawing certainly makes the cab a stand out performer in the scene. I only can imagine what a workhouse vehicle this has been and the stories it could tell. I would dub this one "The Yellow Cab in India".

I used to own an 'Ambassodor' i late 70's till mid-80s. . I should admit I miss it for its spaciousness and costeefectiveness. It was almost like a SUV size of today! I appreciate your nice review. Thank you so much for your support. Glad you liked it.

It's certainly a very different automobile from the 'Ambassador' that Nash ( and then 'American Motors Corporation' as the company was known after Nash merged with Hudson Motor Company in 1954 ) produced for several decades!
It's an interesting picture,my friend!

The vehicle looks a lot like the vintage New York checkered cabs. The shape is very much the same. I like how your background is black and white with mostly a line art style. That, along with the vignette gives the image a feeling of looking into the past.
