Wow what an amazing and magnificent stop action capture. Your clarity and focus is perfect. This King Vulture is certainly absorbed in landing. (thanks for the information on these magnificent creatures of the air). Your framing is very well done. Lighting superb and shows the details wonderfully and I love the orange colour on his beak and neck. A great pleasure to view!

Thank you very much for the generous six stars! I appreciate your nice comments too. I really like how unusual their heads are and the rope like texture of skin on their face that curves around to the back of their necks.

OMG! He looks mean and ugly and ready to strike! great looking shot. great timing too! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Wow a 10 star shot as this is even in movement - stop action shot in perfection - the very second in a landing position - I think you really caught him well foam the perfect angle and distance - the uniform green lets the bird stand out in perfection - excellent use of space -clear and sharp a always with perfect contrast and lighting
a super composition with a great initial impact - well reacted awesome

A great flight shot. I like the flaring of the flight feathers and the great detail in his face. A well timed shot that is shown in beautiful colors.

Grace,
A beautiful & interesting picture of this Colourful King Vulture as in comes into land the outer tips of it's wing feathers outspread like fingers on a hand it's feet below & ready to land on it prey. The green of the vegetation below making a perfect contrasting backdrop to the Vulture's plumage. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
