As aggressive as they are I saw a hummingbird chase one all the way across the lake last week. A fine shot with beautiful detail in the eye and great colors. Best of luck in the contest.

A very good entry into the competition posted here! Your excellent full and almost central composition provides us with a very good view of your handsome bird. Love the detail in the feathers. Exposure and sharpness are excellent. Great photo and good luck!

What strikes the eye is the sharpness and focus attained in this shot! This is a wonderful close-up shot of the bird! You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

What ever happens I will always remember you for photos like this. You are so good at capturing these small birds Close and personal, and especially the feathers look great. With the softened background, the bird is standing out in an excellent way.
Your Focus is spot on and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is Perfect.
The cropping is working well and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Willie, and With an excellent DOF. I wish you Luck With the contest.
