Without his beak showing the fish looks like it was photoshopped there. Great photo, way to be there at the right time and right place!
Thanks for sharing! Thank

His his beak spearing right through the fish? That's how it looks to me. Pretty amazing. But if that's true how the get it off of there? It does like a look like a healthy size fish. And no, I don't think he wanted to show you what he caught. He knows you are a photographer so he wanted you to take his picture! And you did!

Looks like and sounds like he wanted to parade his big capture to everyone! Your fine and off-centre composition is very suggestive of a proud display. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!

I have seen this same behavior. It seems that if the fish is quite large he might have a bit of trouble swallowing it. I guess that he might be concerned about dropping the fish while trying to align it head first. A large fish would probably get away if he was in the water.

Nice capture, he possibly is showing you what a great fisherman he is! That's a big fish !well focused, nice clear image, exposure is managed well, his colors and tones show true. I see good detail in his feathers and love the way he is holding that fish! Well composed and presented!
