A beautiful & interesting picture of the Grey Heron with a wriggling fish caught in it's long beak as it walks on the bank covered in a carpet of fallen leaves. the sun behind it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It looks like you enjoy going to this lake and finding great subjects to photograph. (there is always something interesting). You have a great find here with this grey heron and his capture of a rather large fish in his beak. Your image is clear and the light is very good to show the details of this fine composition.

Looks like this heron is a typical fisherman. From the time the fish is caught until it is shown it has a tendency to grow in size. Guess this was the heron's way of showing it off. Very interesting composition, an excellent photo and a great story to go with it. Well done all around,
