This is a lovely landscape with the snow and the greenery. I like how this road leads the eyes directly into the mountains. They have attractive shapes.

Distant snow capped mounts lends a refreshing vista!
Visually appealing.

I like the angle you used for this lovely shot as you drive towards Thompson Pass, Pat, making the viewer want to travel along this road in mountains towards the distant mountain where the glacier nestles. Such beautifully clear bright colours. Excellent lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

This pic should be the song art for " Mama Knows The Highway " by Rhonda Vincent And The Rage Pat. With scenery like this why do you ever stop driving Queen ?

Awe, thanks so much Paul, actually between May and October I am home very little, we do a lot of driving in our gas guzzling motorhome. We just have to keep our eye on the road lol!

oh my goodness, how can you keep your eyes on the road? It is beyond me, I would stop and just stare. Fortunately, the road is quite empty. Amazing views of highlands. Was watching the film 'Mountain Men' yesterday, they are up there, I can see them!

Thank you so very much , usually my husband drives and I am looking out at the scenery, I grew up here, so I am very used to the mountains and glaciers being there.

Very nice panoramic view of the snow covered mountains, blue sky and highway heading toward Valdez. This sort of reminds me of the times driving through the curved roads and foggy conditions in Pennsylvania. Although it doesn't appear to be foggy here. Great shot you have captured. Thanks for sharing Pat

What a scenic drive this is. With a view like this how can you not go driving as often as you can?

The curving road leads the eye to the beautiful mountains where the snow is still hanging on like a white blanket.

The tree covered hill side on the left makes for a great framing element.

Good eye for seeing this one and thank you so much for sharing your wonderful views ~ Steve

Thank you so very much Steve! Between May and October, I am very rarely at home, we are out in our Motorhome doing a lot of driving!

This is a beautiful picture with the cloudy but blue Sky, the snow on the mountains and the evergreens and then finally the road. I like how you framed it. It reminds me of the sites I see when I have been in Colorado. Out here in Illinois everything is flat and sea level so sites like this are special for me!
