This is a beautiful photograph Meg! The dark and light Coral colors are very eye catching and present a wonderful initial impact. The darker background helps the lighter colors on the flower petals contrast so nicely, great photo!

I love the soft coral colour to this moss rose, pin sharp focus captures all the detail on the soft petals and stamen, like the red tinge to the centre which gives depth,
the flower stands out clearly against the muted back ground, great light and well framed.

Very nice close up that you have captured. The details inside the rose are nice. However, I think you might of cropped it too much where the whole rose is not in view. Nevertheless, great looking rose you have captured.

Ugly color and an attractive extreme close-up of this peachy flower. I like being able to see the powdery pollen the tips of the main stamen. I deducted a point because I wish that so much of the left side of the flower had not been cropped off. It feels a little imbalanced to me.

Great job, Meg. I used to grow these as a kid in the rock garden at home in Massachusetts. This is a beauty in a wonderful coral color. The close up view is excellent and you got great detail with your phone. Well done!
