Quite an intriguing photo posted here! Would never have associated this with an octopus!! Your fine image benefits from having a good composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Well done!

Good Heavens Steve, When dd you run into this beast! I don't think I'd like to run into this fellow, especially from this view! LOL This is definitely expressive!!! Love the tones of green you have in this. Surprisingly it is kind of pretty! Nicely done and quite a view! :o) Nancy

This looks like strings of beads on a velvet shawl. Only a very close look reveals the origin as an Octopus . The composition has an intriguing three-dimensional appearance. The colors and the gleam of the "beads" are intriguing. The mixed media is well framed. The composition is balanced.

Gr-r-r-eat,Steve!
I thought of the 'St.Augustine,Florida ,Giant Octopus' ( A monstrous and partially decomposed tentacled 'Globster' that weighed several tons which washed up dead on the beach down there after a hurricane in 1898 ( or was it '97? ) and which has been argued about among Marine Biologists,Paleontologists,Cryptozoologists, and Occultists ever since ) and I'm just really enjoying this wonderfully Out of the Ordinary photographic presentation that you've treated us to!
It's very 'Mollusc-y' ( even sort of 'C'thulu-esque' ! ) and it makes for a powerfully 'Good Show'!

I was just going to say that this looks like an octopus, and then I realized that you already had told us. LOL I especially like the colors in this Picture, and also how the light is used. It has brought out such a fine shine glow.

This image is very much about shapes and lines, and they are all standing out well defined. It is also fine textures to be seen.

The format and framing is perfect, and it is indeed a fine flow and balance in the composition. A truly great looking and well done abstract Steve.

This is a very cool idea to create an abstract this way! I like the way the lines swirl out from the center which is about one third of the way from the top of the photo making good use of the rule of thirds. Lovely colors too.

OK BFF, this is my absolute favorite!!

First of all I love octopus.. I could never eat one.. they are too intelligent...

Second of all, your view of her tentacles is spectacular and I'm so impressed!!

Your richness is beyond words here.

Superb!! Great work BFF :)

This is a great view of the fascinating suckers of the tentacles. They do looks so much like suction cups one would adhere to a window decoration! The light and the colors look nice too.

Fantastic view of the octopus, Steve! Looks like a beautiful abstract painting - sorry I've no 6 left. Excellent lighting and focus - love what you've done with the filters, etc. Very imaginative presentation. Suzanne
