I know I reviewed this one before so I'm not sure if this is just similar to another one of yours or I somehow didn't save my review. the photograph is beautiful and I love all the shades of green with the tiny little red beak and the tiny bits of red on the fruits as well. I really like how the head of the bird mimics the shape of the fruit as well. I like that green fills the whole frame. Too bad these birds are harmful to the area because they are very pretty!

A very nice and interesting nature shot posted here! Wonder how they can survive so well in France compared to Africa? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

I thought I already did this one some days ago - seems I missed out - I love the green in green shot , would have been a fantastic green contest entry - for sure attractive and special as even the bird is green
excellent frame choice , perfect sharpness contrast and lighting - perfect use of space
I think it I a special picture as a parrot rarely is seen free in Europe with apples
well seen, well done,

Wow Fred! I can't even imagine having parakeets in my back yard, here this one is on your apple tree, I like that everything is green, the parakeet , tree and apples! Well focused, nice clear image, beautiful green parakeet with the bright red beak! Well composed and presented!

These parrots are very common in India too. Most probably brought here by the French or the Portuguese 200 years ago! This is fine shot of the parrot in its natural surroundings. Thanks for sharing!

A fine looking bird even if it is an invasive species and a great looking shot. I like the composition that shows both the apples and the parakeet very nicely. Very nice details and great colors.

The parakeet is well placed in the frame and the pose and facial expression beg the question. The focus throughout the photo is sharp. The colors are realistic and natural.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of this guilty looking Perruches a collier busy feasting on your Apples head turned to look at you guiltily! It's bright green plumage & red beak making it stand out clearly from the tree's foliage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
