OMG - it really looks frosty and at the same time so warm in color range and so beautiful due to your excellent view point and frame choice
excellent composition, beautiful landscape and for sure a wonderful wall paper - this sky just is such an opposite to the cold that the entire picture has an extraordinary flower , well seen and well done

Great scene. It makes me chilled just looking at it. Reminds me of Idaho as a kid.

I like the bare foreground leading to the sparsely frost covered grasses. The background frosted hills make a great frame for the golden sky and clouds.

Great work Pat ~ Steve

It's funny how a winter scene can look so warm! The sunset colors have a lovely richness and gives nice warmth to the landscape, in spite of the snow and frost. Those days are too fast approaching here!

Thanks so much! Winter is the best time for sunsets, the colors are much more vivid. It was very cold here, I always freeze my hands cause I don?t like to wear gloves!

A very nice scene with great colors. I like the composition with the footprints in the foreground snow. A very sharp shot and a fine preview of what is to come.

Pat this is a great landscape photo! I don't like cold, but this image looks so beautiful. I guess it's early for a frost even in Alaska. The yellowish colors of skies make a nice contrast with the frosty wetlands. The DOF is fantastic! The composition is perfect! And the perfect rating from me, my friend!!!

This composition presents a life like rendition of the juxtaposition between the heat and the cold. The viewer can admire the beauty of the fire in the sky while feeling the chill from the frost. The perspective and depth enhance the scene. The colors make it come alive. The animal tracks in the foreground lead the viewer right in. This is different, interesting and alluring.

Pat,
A wonderful winter's sunset over Potter's Marsh the sky ablaze on shades of gold the frosty mountains marsh plants & water in shade of mauve & the bonus bird trail across the ice in the foreground make the picture for me! Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
