I like the coloring of this image and the copious amount of rich textures and patterns of lines that add a lot of interest to the scene. The vertical lines of the gate next to the horizontal curved lines of the stone wall look good together. The lock on the gate is also intriguing.

This is an interesting capture. I like that you took the photo in black and white. The monochromatic emphasizes the sharpness of detail. The POV is intriguing. The diagonal of the gate is interestingly contradicted by the straight lines of the wall and the curves of the column in the background. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced. Best luck for the contest.

A fine perspective and a very nice presentation. I like the corrosion on the metal gate that goes great with the concrete and brick in the background. Best wishes in the contest.

Nicely done black and white rendition of what I perceive is an old, rusting gate. Placement of the lock in the foreground adds interest to the composition. Focus is sharp and details well defined and clear. Good luck in the contest.

Looks like a good entry into the competition posted here! Your fine composition offers us a good look at that well worn gate. Wonder where your fort is? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

Thank you! Fort Point is a Civil War era fort at the southern base of the golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA.

This is an interesting balck and white of an old gate. Out of the box entry!. The light and shadows, and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

Nice entry for this contest, I like the black and white rendering and feel it suits this image very well, I see good detail and texture in this gate, I see that it is locked , this is well focused, the image is sharp and clear, exposure is well managed, nice tonal range in the B&W. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!
