Great entry. Great exposure adjustments, even though the sun seems bright and harsh, the colors are vivid and natural. I was looking forward for this entry to be at the top, but sometimes the result of the contest here in FAR is so strange. I believed, this is technically strong.

Thanks for your nice review and support. I too wish the lower part of the sunflower head was less harsh. I did not notice that when I submitted it. Thanks for setting up this contest, was fun.

It is indeed a beautiful sunflower, it's perfectly shaped, this is well focused, the image is clear, the colors and tones appear natural, look at the petals, the ones at the top are showing good detail, the lower ones are over exposed causing a loss of detail. The center shows nice and clear with good detail, and the bee shows well too. It's well placed in the frame .

Hi Pat, thanks for the review. I am glad you noticed the blown out lower part of the flower. I did not catch that, so good eye. That is the hazard in shooting yellow petals in full sunlight. Even post processing can't rescue it now! :)
