Nancy!!! You did it again - this is gorgeous! It has a very well defined 3-D look to it. The background, flower, and butterfly all layered perfectly, and the shadow beneath the butterfly makes it look ready to just fly off the screen. Beautiful work!

This looks like an painting. The appearance of a photo has entirely varnished into textures which look like brush strokes. The colors are beautiful and realistic. The blown green shaded background emphasizes the butterfly profoundly. The mixed media is well composed, balanced and framed.

This looks like a well executed painting of this brightly colored butterfly, it's orange tones with just bits of white really stand out beautifully from the soft green toned background, the Queen Anne's lace makes a perfect platform for the butterfly! Very well created and presented!

Having fun with Topaz I see. I do not have it but isn't it amazing all the things that we can do to 'create' almost any look we want in a photo?
I really like the painted look you gave this one. It has an almost surreal look to it which really catches the eye.

Hi Steve, I have fun with whatever effects I use. I do like some of the effects Topaz has and this is my first posting using it along with other filters. You're right about it being amazing of what we can do with filters. I don't have many but I like what I have. Thanks for the wonderful review Steve.Glad you enjoyed this! The enhancing treatment and editing really has worked with this one Nancy how it has made the butterfly pop and leap out at you from the page! Its the colours mainly I think even without doing this with the editing the reds and greens would have worked together!

A very nice image that is well composed and shown in gorgeous colors. I have never owned Topaz and have no plans on getting it although nowadays it is much more subtle than in the past.
