Oh, dear!! Serious case of black spot here. Nice photo, Really sad subject. Unless the point is rose bush diseases I see no reason to take this picture. Sorry is that is harsh. Actually this looks like the roses that grow in my yard. I do not photograph them.

thanks for your comments,don,t agree as such why the disagreement over the black spots,part of the life of a leaf would you not agree and its the photo you comment on not a disease as such,but you are entitled to an opinion on it,i would rather that than a bland five as such

Three green leaves with some deterioration markings creating a pattern , this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is good, the colors and tones are natural. I might have removed the bits of dead grass on the left and the bright spot on lower right,they are distractions that draw the eye off the leaves.i appreciate your effort.

A nice image with very fine colors which should be an advantage in this contest. The composition is attractive and the details in the leaves and the fine mist of water on them is excellent. Best of luck in the voting.
