Abstract impression of explosion

Awesome,Suzanne!
It makes me think of reports that I've read about how the mushroom cloud from the nuclear air strikes on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which hastened the end of the Second World War were said to have looked after the initial flash and heat wave of the explosion started to dissipate and the radioactive debris that had been drawn up into the cloud began to congeal before falling as 'black rain'. ( Heavy Fallout )
The crew of a Japanese observation aircraft who'd actually flown through the dissipating cloud died within minutes of doing so,joining the thousands of people who'd died on the ground underneath the explosion.
That description is quite grim but your creation is Beautiful!
Outstanding work,my friend!

Many thanks, Sean, for your great review and 6 stars and for making me think of that horrible time. Like to think of this as more of an underwater explosion maybe! Suzanne

This is such a good combination of colors to show the explosion! I find it to be pretty incredible that I can see the explosion start in the lower left corner and I see the upward motion as the blacks move up over the orange and blue tones. Very well created using your special technique! Well presented!

I think you should make your husband take you out for a milk shake twice a week. You could drop various pieces of fruit into and take videos / photos or painting of it as you blow through a straw to see what kinds of shapes and colors you could conjure up. You would be known as The Maestro Of Milk Shake Art. This looks like the fukushima disaster or a banana split gone rogue. Another excellent abstract effort from The Rembrandt Of The Roses.

Some thorns are just too damn stupid to know when they have a beautiful rose R.R. The review was my pleasure.

Looks like a kind of colour explosion under water! Interesting shapes and patterns add to the mystery. Unique technique.Good use of light and dark. Thanks for sharing!

I can feel the upward movement and the force behind the explosion. My interpretation is that it is a hot geyser of steam erupting from the depth of the ocean floor blowing mud and sediment upward through the blue ocean.
