I'm impressed first because I can see the texture of the orange peel , I think that this is very well created, it's realistic in size, shape and structure, I like the two green leaves still attached telling me this orange is freshly picked, the slices also are well shaped with realistic structure and shapes, nice show of the detail too, it's well created, arranged and presented! Thanks for taking a look at this still life. I do like water color pencils much better than just water colors. Maybe that is what all rookie artist say. :)

This is lovely! I especially like how you painted the slices of orange. You really captured the way they look with the translucent skin over the inner part of the slices. You're doing very well with this new method. Great entry for the contest! Best of luck! .
