And shine,

Your intricate work to achieve this was well worth the effort. It has great initial impact. Your colour pallet blends very well. The 3D effect pushes the flower right out of the back ground. I like your framing too.

All I can say is WOW! hat a grand entrance back to FAR Diane.
This is really something else. I love the 3D effect. The subtle changes of colors is very well done and adds a wonderful element to the the flower.

This is very pretty. I love the blends of the blues and purples. Because the background is of similar colors, however, it flattens the one out a bit and it does not really look very 3D. I won't take away from giving it 5 stars because it is beautiful whether it looks 3D or not. I do think it would really pop It more with a darker band.

This is a nice entry for this contest, I love the blue tones ,the flower is actually lifting up off the page, the petals just glow, I like the predominantly blue with hints of purple and pink in the petals, the flower is well shaped. The blue tones in the background are working well to push the flower forward and I like the way you framed this piece too! Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!
