Your imaginary flower is beautiful Suzanne, and I especially like all the different shades of Purple in the petals. I can see from Your notes that we have used the same procedure as many times before, and in this case it has worked so well.
You have still managed to bring out fine high lights giving life and light to the Bloom, and it is also fine textures to be seen.
The format and the tight framing is working well, and I like how the Bloom is almost filling the frame.
A truly lovely and well done painting of an imaginary flower.

Wow,what a stunning bloom! I used to have some datura plants that had flowers of purple and white,this reminds me very much of their coloring. Very realistic with beautiful depth and layering,looks fantastic against the black background;excellent tight framing. An impressive bloom!

This is another amazing creation of yours Suzanne. I could see this enlarged on a big wall. Your use of purple hues are just so pretty and the green stem brings it together as a very believable flower image. Excellent artwork and such a pleasure to view!

Excellent painting you have created. Great blend and mixture of various colors used to achieve the natural look of a flower. It sure looks like a real flower to me. The black background goes very well where it allows the flower to be the center of attention in this piece. Very well balanced and framed. Well done Suzanne
