Wow, what a fantastic initial impact! Such depth, light and a great composition. It looks so real and Hollywood at the same time. All we need is Moses and the movie is on. I love the contrast between the highlights of the goat and the mountains, it really makes him stand out. I love the depth that is immediately seen and felt thanks to the richness of color of the rocks and the way the light bounces off them. This is technically perfect in every way. I love it.

Excellent choice of subject.
Natural setting.
Effective use of available light.
Brighter colored subject pops out against darker monochromatic backdrop.
Great placement in the frame.
Sharply focused.
Fine features & smooth fur textures.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

Annie,
A very beautiful picture of this long haired white goat with curved horns clambering over the rocky hillside searching for sparce nourishment among the dried plants growing there. Beautiful composition framing with natural lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I really like the dramatic look
Of the rock with the textures and
Tones highlighted, good capture of the goat which is beautifully
Exposed, sharp focus and clarity. Lens effect works well
Here. Nice camera work and
Post processing.

Thought for a moment you had captured a picture of my Bedlington Terrier..lol ..he loves to climb the rocks and as you know they are very sheep like in appearance !! anyway your picture is excellent and well structured with the appearance of this animal moving upwards.

The white fur does look great against the rich warm colors of the rocky terrain. The clarity is very nice with sharp detail of the goat showing. I also like how well the texture of his coat stands out.

You found a splendid setting to show off every inch of this plucky goat. Your photo is beautifully focused and composed, and I almost want to pet him. He would have been Goat of the Year if you'd sponsored a goat contest.
