To go boldly where no flower has gone before... You have such an excellent imagination,these are so enjoyable,just like the cartoons i used to watch on Saturday mornings as a child,back when they had REAL cartoons on TV! Flowernaut really looks like he is looking forward to visiting Uranus,maybe the blue color has a very calming effect on him.

A beautiful picture of the Space Ship approaching Uranus showing the Pilot with wonder & some fear written on his face as his ship travelles at speed towards that mysterious planet for the first time. Created by your artist's eye for composition very skilful draftsmanship beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing this scene to life.

I must have missed this one last time around as I found myself viewing "Landing on Uranus". No question I could not pass this one by without commenting. As I mentioned in comments re: the landing, I'll bet our astronaut is happy to be landing as it probably is the last stop on the way back home. Now I see the smiling face and I am going to take that as I assumed correctly. You should do well in the contest -- seriously. And, thanks for another chuckle this morning.

Not really.. cartoons don't do well on these contest unless it's topic calls for it. However I still plug along showing what this office medium can do..some folks tell me they don't look at cartoons..I bet their life suck as a child growing up..no cartoons..lolol.. thanks for the great review

I for one am happy that you keep plugging away. I appreciate what you do and I also appreciate the challenge for me to come up with the back story - - at least as I see it. I think that is where others are missing the boat. Your work requires seeing and thinking, not just looking.
