Thank you so much Lucas for your artistic and encouraging review. I took this one a couple of years ago. I am going to Yellowstone tomorrow as a matter of fact. I will spend 4 days in the park. Hope to get some photos worth posting here. Thank you again Lucas ~

Wow the viewer can almost feel
The heat, the deep saturated colour really adds to the atmosphere of the photograph.

Ah, finally I can see this one clear enough to have an opinion. Nice. Primordial. Other worldly. This is really a beautiful scene to me as it shows and unexpected rawness of this planet that snaps your attention to the fact that you don't control nature. All that heat with trees and snow in the background. Stunning. Reasons for my five star vote.

Hi Steve, This sounds like something you wouldn't want to walk on. Those Thermophiles definitely look HOT. The orange color makes that even more so! Love seeing something I probably won't get a chance to see. Love how the steam is rising. Very Cool and a joy to view! :o) Nancy

The Hot Pools are a sight to behold. If you have seen them you will never forget. Indeed, it looks alienated and mysterious. It could be a planet far away or a land of dreams. The contradiction between the hazy background with floating islands of disconnected land and the colors, of the foreground, especial the orange, is profound. The photo is well composed and framed.

As you say, it's an eerie image to behold. Your including the trees gives the viewer context and proportion, and the bright orange pools are perfectly cropped for your photo.

AW Thanks my BFF. I am so glad you like it. Thank you Especially for your More than Generous rating. Yellowstone is one of my favorite places in the world. Grew up 90 miles away. BTW, I am heading to Yellowstone this Wednesday in conjunction with my 50th high school reunion. I will be spending 4 days in the park and plan to give my poor little iPhone7 a good work out. Hopefully get some post worthy pictures. Thanks again BFF ~ BFF
