Yeah, it sure looks like he is praying alright. I think he is thankful to FINALLY be selected as one of your photo subjects! His fur looks a little damp, so maybe he was trying to groom himself so he would look his best! ;)

Great initial impact. So cute! What a wonderful portrait of this little fuzzball. I love your thoughts too. I feel the same way. This shot is great technically as well. Nice sharp image, good placement of focal point, good depth of field, good lighting and good framing of subject matter. Love it.

These critters are just great and I love to watch them popping there heads up and down to view the landscape around them. They are like little hand puppets in my opinion.Nice shot of this creature with good structure to your presentation

The pose is cute. The Prairie Dog could be paying or just being thoughtful. Maybe its something else and the animal chewing its paw because an insect bothers it. The photo is focused and has good depth and is well exposed. Details of body and fur are refined. The colors are realistic. The shallow background is not distracting. The composition is balanced and framed well.
