That "quick draw" with the camera paid off. This close up of the robin is very sharp and clearly detailed throughout the bird. I especially like the detail in the feathers and the light in the robin's eye. Glad you had time to get your camera out of the "holster"!

    Charlie,
Thanks a million for your great & complementary review on this little Robin. Some of my friend complain about the fact I have the Camera ready on my belt all the time!!

it is a great shot susan. the closest you could possibly get. he has that iconic burnt orange, coloured chest and such an adorable face. one of the most popular birds in the british isles and beyond.

    Vincent,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
I think this one is semi tame as I can get this close before it flys off the other scatter when i'm abot six feet away.

A very lovely nature photo posted here for us to enjoy! Your fine, full and off-centre composition offers us a very good look at your fluffy robin. Like the eye gleam and feather detail. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!

    Nik,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Robin that sat there for almost two minutes before flying off after I first saw it.

Such a sweet image of this European Robin. You were very fortunate to look up at the right time and have your camera on hand.
Just enough lighting to view his lovely orange colouring's. A lovely candid close up capture.

It's a beautiful capture of this sweet little Robin , I see good detail over every visible part , especially love it's little face and that clear eye! Well focused, nice clear image, well managed exposure, beautiful colors and they appear natural. Well composed and presented!
