This is an excellent creation. The flower in front is pin-sharp, even the water drops on the petals. The play of light on the flower is interesting. I like your POV. The soft flower in the background is perfectly placed. The diagonal view is pleasant to the eyes. The colors of the flowers are beautiful and indeed complimentary. The photo is well framed.

Hi Allan, this is just stunning! I love this angle of shot, allowing a good sense of the shape and structure of the water lily, the purple petals are so pretty and the yellow center compliments the purple very well, Mother Nature doesn't make mistakes! This is of course, well focused, the image is clear , exposure is managed well, the colors and tones are natural.i like the darker background and the blurred lily in back, this is a beautiful composition, well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Hope you had a good summer in AK, we were pretty wet all year, never got the summer brown out like normal.
