interesting photo, mainly since it looks like an abstract one, I find it difficult to see the moth in it

nice colors and light handling

thanks for sharing

Thanks,it is a macro of the moth?s body.

This is an fascinating macro. The refinement of detail is extraordinary. All the little single hairs show perfectly, even those on the antennas. The photo is perfectly focused and exposed. The colors are realistic. The tight, tall framing is adequate.
The macro is well composed and framed.

Beautiful macro shot. It is close to being an abstract. Great and sharp focus with wonderful details. The antennae are sharp, the body pattern is well seen, the textures stand out. Good and clear colors. Well captured.

A great close up of this beautiful moth. I like the hairy look and the feathery antennae. The colors are great and the depth of field is very good. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank you! This is one of 5 that I raised last year, overwintering their cocoons in my fridge(you should see what?s in the freezer-lol) until may, when i put them in the mesh enclosure out on the porch when the trees started leafing out.
