Very nice shot of the falls that shows it's power even from a distance. I think I can hear it. Clarity and focus is great. Not much color to work with but looks good anyway. Initial impact is great.

Magnificent capture of these very powerful falls cascading down the cliff. High sprays over the river and cliffs. Great composition showing the large landscape of the area. Nice sunlight on the right side, Great view point and clarity. Well captured!

Very nice landscape shot. The falls are well captured as the centerpiece for the shot. Good motion in the falls flow. I like that you also got the river going through the valley. Good focus and details. Good color. Well controlled light. Nice entry for the contest.

What a coincidence Nik. I am in Yellowstone right now. Have been here for a couple of days and will be here for two more. Just a quick trip that I combined with a high school reunion.
I have been here many times and I know exactly where this was taken. Such a famous and dramatic view from there. Not sure if I will have time to get there this trip. Concentrating on the geyser basins this trip.
Great image as you have captured the drama and beauty of the falls as well as the surrounding canyon walls. The sun coming from the left illuminates the right side of the canyon while putting the left side in the shade. That makes for a tricky shot and you have rendered it very well.
Hopefully you will get back to the park one day. Nice work Nik. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

If only that abundant water could be diverted to nourish those thirsty looking trees! I like your vantage point as the photographer, which allows the viewer to see a great deal of the water and the surrounding trees give us good perspective of the surrounding scenery.

That's quite pretty but I have to admit that I'm feeling a little vertigo just from looking at it! I don't imagine it would be a pleasant fall for anything other than water! I really like the way the water looks so powerful and the way it looks like there's steamy look of the water that is crashing to the ground.
