First thought was, 'quite charming'. Good anatomical rendition of the horse head. Nice light color combination of the tan, yellow, gold and umber. I don't know why, but I really like that pastel purple in the upper left corner. Just a very nice animal portrait to view. Reasons for my five star vote.

Beautiful painting of a horse, a lovely creamy chestnut colour with a wild mane, rather like a woman's hair. Not sure, but there seems something either young and wild, or feminine and wild about this lovely animal.
