Simply stunning? I so APPRECIATE when one uses low flat light and gets white Balance on all colors correct.
My view is if you have been on Far for years you should grow and improve in your work.
I so tire of excuses for blow out, focus and timing.
The digital age allows us to view and take again if need be.
I like the depth, focus, clarity, exposure and use of low light.
Beautiful capture Pat ;)

I think the gray clouds and the dark shrubbery in the foreground create a very moody scene. The composition is excellent as usual and the colors are fantastic.

The calm lake has serenity. The colors are impressive. The dark clouds are not oppressive, but look like a fleecy woolen blanket. The reflections are beautiful.
The landscape is well focused and exposed. It has impressive depth. The colors are realistic. The composition is balanced.

And I thought we had a ton of lakes! Minnesota is called the land of ten thousand lakes like it's a big deal! It is nothing compared to Alaska land of 3 million lakes :) I'm glad you included that in your notes because one of my first thoughts seriously when I looked at this was, wow, I wonder how many lakes they (Alaska) have -not kidding, I really did think that as soon as I saw this shot. Here is another gorgeous view of one. The colors are well exposed and the ripples on the water look great.

Thanks so much! I was surprised to find out that we have three million lakes, I?m sure that most of them are not accessible. I bet I have seen only less then 100.

Nicely done. The picture is clear and the focus is good too. The lighting is also very good. I think it's perfect the way it is. Nice entry and good luck to you.

This is beautiful Pat! I love the dramatic cloudy sky and the way it's reflected in the water. Positioning the mountains two thirds of the way from the bottom of the photo gives this great depth as the viewer looks across the lake. Very well done!

What a lovely scene Pat. The softness gives one a sense of peace and tranquility.
The vegetation in the foreground is a nice frame for the still waters of the lake reflecting the sky.
The almost mirror reflection of the dark clouds gives a nice touch of drama to the scene. Very well done Pat ~ Steve

So beautiful. Those heavy clouds squashing the mountains and water beneath. The foliage down front and center anchors the scene while those very distant mountains draws the viewer into that scene. I also rather like the subdued colors in this one. Reasons for my five star vote.
