I was going to ask if he was pointing upward (an odd landing position) or if you had flipped it. Now I know. Can you imagine if those giant ones were still around? What would they be eating?

A very interesting photo of this Dragonfly. It does stand out in the orientation. Focus is great as is the lighting. Appearing to stand on it's head is a different view for sure.

Damn, now why didn't mine do that, lazy dragonfly-lol! Flipping it make s for a very cool image, I don't think i have ever seen one doin a handstand before. I don't think flipping mine would have helped it any. It's a great photo with excellent lighting and focus.

Holy Dragon doing a hand stand Greenie! ;)
Fantastic capture of this Green Farmer showing fine clarity and great details.
I may have de-saturated the yellow in the background a tad.
Great Capture ;)

laughed out loud on this one as the subject appears to be doing a handstand and looking in to an imaginary mirror and saying whats in your title ! He is a handsome fella too and you've captured those looks really well

Grace,
A beautiful picture of this Green Darner Dragonfly appearing to be standing on it's head tail in the air gossamer wings outspread almost invisible against the blurred greens of the background yet with you razor sharp focus we can easily see the finest details of the tiny veins & yellow leading edge of the wings. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

WOW again a very unusual position - perfect gymnastics - wondering how they are balancing out in this position
great capture , super close up - and perfect in details - for sure you have again proves your photographic eye as this guy has the exact same colors as his environment and you focused him perfectly
a great composition that for sure would have been a good item for the dragon fly contest

Wow! Stunning capture of the dragonfly! I like how well you captured the eyes. Very well photographed in good lighting, sharp focus, and outstanding details and clarity in your image. So beautiful are the intricate patterns captured on the wings. Your diffused background compliments your work. Beautiful work Grace and thanks for sharing!
Love this!
