Hi Brenda,this is a beautiful seahorse, I love it's position in this underwater scene and it has such beautiful colors! I like the sea plants that grow on the left . The seahorse is well created with good shape and structure . This reminds me when I was a kid , they had advertisements to buy a seahorse kit and I always wanted one but never got it! I like the way you show this as being under water! This is well created and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

From your description it saddens men to learn that yet another creature is being eliminated to support some notion of mankind. Your watercolor rendition is nicely done and I like the soft colors. My wife has taught me how difficult it is to paint watercolors. From my perspective, I would have liked this more had it been clearer. Just my point of view. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you, that was a really appreciated critique. I think that because I tried to represent an underwater scene the clarity was lost. But otherwise happy you liked it.
