This is Such a beautiful bird and I agree it has to be one of the most colorful in the world outside the birds of Paradise.
Great positioning in the frame. The focus is sharp and captures those wonderful colors so well.
The branch tip entering the scene from the lower left corner gives a nice sense of perspective.

This is a really nice capture of the flight with sharp detail showing of the entire bird. The colors are also very nice. I might have cloned out the greens and cropped tighter for the contest, but overall the shot of the bird excellent :)

Gorgeous colors on this beautiful bird. The wings look like gorgeous fans. I like the two tail feathers trailing behind. The light is making the wings almost look transparent and I also like the way it is reflecting off of a bird's head.

Fine clarity on both the bird and eye, Controlled white balance, sharp focus showing fine stop action and great feather details.
I am not fond of the branches at bottom left as I find them to be a distraction. It is your shot, so your choice.

Very nice capture of this bird in flight. The colors are very beautiful, When I took a larger view of this the birds head seemed to be unusually large in proportion to its body. I'm sure there is a reason for this it was just interesting what nature does sometimes, Very clear and sharp image here.

A perfect stop action photo with excellent sharp focus, I can see lovely details throughout,and the blue sky makes for a perfect backdrop.
