Ha ha, this is cool! Damn fine marker work! Good luck in the contest! I love the well distributed colors you used. Any time you have jury duty and don't want to be picked, pretend that you're narcoleptic (falling asleep suddenly out of nowhere) and keep doing it. It works for me everytime lol. But then again as Artist's, the best work that comes out of us are works driven by pain. So well done!

Thanks, I really enjoyed working with your medium. Really really enjoyed it. You really have to think out your next move while doing it. So much for me I finally had to just start, and when I started adding colors it just all came together. May try a few more, might as well I have a pretty sweet sharpie collection going on now. Thanks again for all the pointers and great advice. How do you feel about colored card ? Thanks means a lot. John

Your idea to show emotion in stylized clown faces seems unique. The shapes and colors indeed transfer your intentions to the viewer. The emotions Monday-sad and Friday-happy are instantly understand by the viewer. Funny my emotions are in contradiction with yours. I feel happy on Mondays because I have some time off on most weekends, but Fridays I feel often exhausted from all the work I have done.

I think this makes a great entry for the contes, like the sad clown for the start of the work week and the obviously happy clown for Friday, perhaps looking forward to a bit of fishing over the weekend.Colors are all bold and eyecatching, and both images are very well done-best wishes to you in the contest!

Wow John! This is something different from you ! It's a great entry for this contest! I really like the two clowns, the Monday clown has the turned down corners of his mouth! It's Monday, the beginning of the work week, he's not happy, nice details from his hat to his collar, his face shows his feelings! I like that the background is blue just like his mood! The clown on the right has a happy face, it's Friday! He's ready to party, he's got his polka dot bow tie and a colorful hat, he's smiling ! The purple background is perfect for the partying Friday night he is probably planning! Well created , these are awesome John! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Great job, John! Beautifully rendered with distinct graphic depictions of the clowns and vibrant colors. Plus it tells a story that is often times so true of the week days. Best of luck in the contest. Look forward to more.

Ha, Ha, ha...these images are so indicative of how I often felt before I retired. The only job I ever looked forward to was law enforcement and my other careers were too often filled with office politics. Lucky is the person who looks forward to their job every day!
