That must have been a different time as I remember the golden one - similar to this one
a more soft ambiance in pastel colors creating a peaceful scene - the shadow is neat as it enlarges the legs in a splendid way
excellent camera settings and technical applications, also this one is well composed , well framed and well presented

Harmonious sunset colours! With fine skill and handling of the camera you have shot the scene of the man in a canoe
which is classical in its composition. Good luck!

A beautiful scene. I like the exposure for the boatsman and his boat that leaves the light in the sky almost pastel. An excellent composition. Best wishes in the contest.

Very nice photograph of a sunset with a person in a Mokoro. Sharp focus, nice detail and well balanced photo and nicely framed. Nicely composed in the frame. Overall, an well done photograph.

Your artist notes are so informative and interesting. I like the peachy sky that foretells the coming of nightfall. It gives the scene a warm glow that is reflected on the water. The boat looks very fragile and I am not sure I would feel boating in one.

A very beautiful & atmospheric picture of the gentleman in a Mokoro propelling himself by his long pole across the delta. The silhouetted Palm trees along the horizon withthe setting sun behind them adding a gold & pink hue to the cloudless sky that along with the boatmen is reflected on the glistening waters of the delta.. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice shot and a worthy entry to the contest. Very interesting notes and I thought 'that looks like fun' until I read the bit about the hippopotamus. Very much like the peaceful warm colours. Lovely.

    Et merci :-)

The good news is that there does not seem to be a lot of traffic on the water. The bad news could be bumping into a submerged hippo. Your photo sends a sense of peacefulness; someone returning home at the end of the day to be with family and friends. Nice capture, very good techniques and great explanation. Good luck in the contest.
