How cute is this? I like the idea you put together for this piece. I had to check to see what you used to draw this and was surprised to see it was color pencils. I thought it was color pastels. the whole piece is very realistic. You have a great talent, bravo to you, take a bow. lol

Thank you so much for acknowledging my work and the extraordinary ranking. It's greatly appreciated. This portrait is of a calico kitten we found this summer. It seems she was abandoned by her mother. My friend's niece took her in and gave her a home. I thought it would be cute to pair her with a jack o'lantern for the Fall season. The addition of the spider lends a touch of Halloween. Thanks again for your awesome review.

I think it has a trick for the cute calico and her pumpkin friend. This is wonderful! The expression on the kitty's face is so inquisitive. Her coloring is perfect. Really great colored pencil drawing and a good entry to this competition. Good Luck!

I love this one! Super cute calico kitten looking out from inside the pumpkin at a creepy spider! This is perfect for Halloween! Very well created kitten with good show of its fur texture and colors, beautiful eyes that bring this kitten to life, I love this carved face on the pumpkin and the way I can see the kitten through the eyes , nose and mouth. I love the puzzled expression on your calendar co kitten as she ponders the spider dropping by on its spider silk. Your fur on your cat is well rendered and has the soft look of kitten fur. Your wide mouthed jack o lantern is warm and gives that autumn feel.
