This is indeed a lovely Dahlia flower, and With the vibrant colors this photo has a strong Visual impact. The light is falling on it in such a lovely way, and the flower is standing out from the softened background in an excellent way.
Your Focus is spot on and Sharp and it is Clear details to be seen both in the petals, and the yellow center. The exposure is Perfect.
The format and framing is working well and so does the centered position of the flower. A truly lovely and well taken photo Barbara, and With an excellent DOF.

The flower is lovely with super saturated colours that aren't 'overdone'. It's pin sharp and a really nice well exposed shot of the flower. However my eye keeps getting dragged down to the foliage bottom frame which detracts somewhat from the dahlia.

This is a pretty flower and the colors are exposed nicely with attractive sharp detail of the center. I really like the shape of the petals and their colors. The darker areas at the base of the petals really makes the center part of the flower stand out nicely.
