Love the strongly blurred background which brings the bird in sharp focus. The leaves at the bottom of the photo frame it nicely.

A beautiful picture of this uninvited & invasive Rose-ringed Parakeet ~ Psittacula krameri perched in a tree in your garden with what appears to be a seed in it's hooked beak. Watching you from it's perch set against the soft blurred blues of the background, Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest,
Susan

I used to have a parakeet as a pet!
This one is so pretty in the green color! I like his pose on the Branch and his placement in the frame, nice turned head allows a good look at his side profile, I appreciate that clear eye! I see good detail over every part of this bird.
Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is managed well, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!
Best wishes to you in this contest!

There is indeed a lot of shades of green in this photo. The photo is well focused and has good exposure. The colors look realistic. The shallow background is unobtrusive and emphasizes the bird nicely. The pose of the bird is intriguing. The Parakeet is well placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.
I did not know that Parakeets live wild in Paris. I thought they only live in tropical climates.

Yep, soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought, colour green contest entry. Got to be a good contender then. It's a really nice shot and reading the notes ... a big surprise that they are found in the suburbs of Paris, where do they come from ? A nice shot and a good entry for the competition.

Well this is the best photo you have ever taken of these Green Parrots that frequent your yard.
Focus is sharp, eye clarity Fab and white balance Controlled with a non distracting background.
Well done...Good luck ;)
