A beautiful picture of the Elephant Matriarchs with their calves in & coming out of the waterhole their ears flapping in the breeze. The sky reflected on the water's surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & shrp focus.

An interesting story. I would't like to be in a vehicle that is so close to the elephants. Indian elephants are comparatively docile but go berserk sometimes! This is a fine looking wild life photography. Thanks for sharing!

of course, most Asian elies are domesticated, no problem, but in Africa they are wild and can become very dangerous;

I can see why the woman would panic. This is an exciting scene of these elephants quickly exiting the water. They do not appear angry, just determined to move on. I am pleased that you had a good guide that understood their nature.

You are for sure busy taking photographs when you are in Botswana, and that is very understandable With so many Wild animals around. I really like this photo of a herd of elephants because you managed to keep them all inside the frame. And I also like how they all seems to come towards you.
This photo is also very Sharp and it is indeed Clear and well defined details to be seen in all the elephants The exposure is just Perfect, and the colors are Nice and Natural.
I like how you have cropped the photo into a panorama format, and also the placement of the elephants within the frame. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. A truly great looking and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

A crocodile in the water is an excellent reason to get to dry land very quickly. This family of elephants seem to have gotten the message. Your photo captures their exiting action very well.
