Cool,Allan!
We used to pass through 'Cruces' frequently when I was stationed down at Fort Bliss 'many moons ago' and this fine looking picture of the mountains that you've presented us with is very enjoyable to see!
A 'Good Show' of a picture,my friend!

Thanks Sean, my father in law was stationed at Fort Bliss during WW2.
We went from Cruces to El Paso many times for entertainment. Safer than most people realize.

This landscape is just stunning, and you have pictured it so well Allan. The sky With clouds is Perfect, and I like how the light is falling on the highest peaks.

The photo is indeed pin Sharp showing both great textures and well defined details, and the exposure is spot on.

I like the format you have cropped the photo into, and I think it is a very good Balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken landscape photo, and With an excellent DOF.

Thanks Annie, glad you liked it. Sometimes my wife and I get homesick for the desert SW. It is often dry and stark but it just has a feeling to it. Thanks for the great review once again!

This is an well composed landscape. The panorama framing is perfect. The photo is well focused and exposed. The photo has good depth. The mountains and the dessert in front are impressive. The blue sky above is an intriguing contradiction which emphasizes the mountains. I appreciate the realism of light and colors.
