Oh my that is cold and it is not even winter for you yet.
Our coldest days in winter in Melbourne, Australia would be 48 F and that would not be very often.
I find there is such beauty in cold scenes as you have portrayed here. Snow on mountains, dark cloudy skies, icy waters which reflect colour. The autumn colours are still quite vivid in this scene which takes on a whole new look of colour. Another beautiful landscape image Pat and such a pleasure to view your work.

Brrr. This image looks cold with the frosty thin layer of ice and the fallen leaves resting on top. The mountains with their already deep snow caps add to that frigid feel. The aunt colors on the tree lined ridge on the right add the only warmth to the scene.

The leaves look really attractive scattered across the ice. The lighting and color saturation look very nice in this landscape. The eyes are drawn nicely throughout the scene into the lovely sky and mountains in the background.

A beautiful image with the crisp look of fall about it. The composition is beautiful as usual and the leaves on the ice are fantastic. Great colors and nice fog on the mountain.

Burr, burr. Love this shot. Fall slipping into winter, silent, calm and inevitable. While the beauty is grand and magnificent, it makes me want to seek a warm cabin with a warm fireplace. I enjoy looking at this one. Reasons for my five star vote.

Reflection lake is indeed the right name for this lake. Not only its water reflect, but the ice also. It is almost impossible to say were reality ends and reflection begins. The autumn colors of the trees are in stunning contradiction with the ice and the snow covered mountains. The landscape has beautiful depth. The photo is well focused and exposed. The composition is balanced and well framed.

Wow Pat, this is such a beautiful photograph. You can feel the cold weather just by looking at it! The gray skies present a wonderful backdrop for the orange leaves and yellow grasses. The colors and details are very well shown and presented. All of the leaves in the water/ ice are eye appealing and add some good texture to the foreground. Nicely done!

Very nice landscape photograph of Reflections Lake. Like the colors and tones in the trees and beautiful snow capped mountains with moody clouds. Good lighting, sharp focus, natural colors and tones, good DoF, and well balanced photo. Nicely composed in the frame. Overall, a lovely captured Landscape Photograph, well done Pat.
