Pat,
A very beautiful of the Bluet~ Cornflower with a Bumble Bee ~ Bombus centralis sucking nectar from it's centre. The light shining through it's gossamer wings & the tiny veins clearly visible against it's furry body. Beautiful composition, framing * lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

What a lovely capture of this little bee getting the last of the
Nectar, the blue in the flower is a beautiful shade. Good focus and clarity picks up the detail in the bees wings and body.
Well framed and presented.
We still have a few bees and butterfly's around the weather is
Only just turning colder now have had a very good summer
Here in the UK. Jo

A nice shot indeed. I love the look and colour of this blue flower with the added bonus of that tack sharp bee. He seems so ... furry and cuddly and the details in this photo are superb. This dark out of focus background only adds to the presentation of this image.

Beautiful, brilliant blue, shaggy smooth petals show up this fuzzy little bee. It is one of those delightful little photos which people love. You should send it to a card manufacturer, I can think of lots of poems for the centre page.

Nice shot! I guess seeing the flower is a surprise but seeing the bee is even more so. Has it not been very cold there yet? I know it has been unusually warm this year.
The colors are nice and the close detail is interesting! Well done!

Beautiful closeup photograph of a Mountain Bluet with a Bee on it. You can even see the fine hairs on the Bee. Great lighting, sharp focus, good DoF, Natural colors and tones, and a well balanced photo. Nicely composed in the frame. Overall, an excellent and beautiful photograph, well done Pat.

This should be a potential entry to the Blue Photo Contest!
Sharply focused both visitor and unique blue bloom!
Fantabulous saturated colors.

Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Great square format.

Thanks for sharing...

The vibrant color of the blue was enough for a good photo but adding the bee adds another dimension to this photo Pat,full on detail and crop in this, well taken photo...Brian
