I can see myself walking this Beach in awe of the great looking sky. A blue sky looks great, but nothing can beat the sight of a storm brewing up. I like absolutely everything about this photo Chris. How well the incoming Waves are captured, the contrast between the golden Beach and the grey sky, and how lovely the light is falling on it. People walking along adds a lot of interest. I can hardly believe that this photo was taken by an Iphone.
Needless to say that this is also a pin Sharp photo, and that the exposure is Perfect. You have also brought out the great textures seen in the rocky parts, and I also like a lot the Limited color pallet.
We all know it is a special atmosphere and mood on a day like this, and you are showing us this in such an excellent way. The composition is strong With a fine Balance, a Perfect framing and great leading lines. Well done indeed. I will go back on Sunday and give you the six stars you deserve for a shot like this.

The colors are fabulous in this photo considering that gray and light brown is not generally a color palette that draws viewers in. But this works because the photo elements are so strong---angry clouds, whipping water, and people presumably hustling along.

The clouds look threatening and I think rain is already coming down at the horizon. The ochre color of the beach is in excellent contradiction with the dark clouds and rain and the approaching white waves. The diagonal view of the beach is intriguing. The photo has good depth and exposure. It is well framed. The composition is balanced.

A very nice shot from a fine perspective. I like the diagonal shoreline and the great storm clouds. The steps and railing in the lower right show how this is an accessible area, but I might crop up from the bottom to eliminate them.

You have a good eye and have used it well to capture the depth of this scene. I like the detail in the rough shoreline and the contrast between the beach and the grey skies depicting an incoming storm. Including the people anchors the scene and also adds depth.

A very beautiful seascape of Bells beach in Australia the tide rolling in onto the beach that has rocks under the sand & then shingle/pebbles at the foot of the sloping cliff leading down to the beach Peoples walking along the sand under a ceiling of dark clouds heavy with rain fanning out across the heavens. The sun behind you & in front of the people on the beach so their shadows are behind them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I love the clouds warning of a storm, the blue/ grey sky underneath and the grey water showing motion with the white froth, the warm tones on the shore in contrast with the blue/ grey tones on sky and water make this special, the people walking along the shore give scale to the size and bring life to this scene. This is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is managed well and the colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!
