As with most wildlife I have experienced, Mom is never too far away from the young. Your photo clearly shows the bond, and I get the feeling that while Mom may be eating, she also is closely watching the surrounding area for signs of danger. Nicely framed and composed. Very natural looking colors and well detailed.

Elephants are amazingly family orientated and I love seeing the little ones with Mom. Excellent composition and the lighting, color and exposure are all handled well. Good focus.
