Yeah, he is a cute little guy and that lily pad is massive! I don't think I've seen any that big here in Florida, but I imagine they are found here. Very nice photo.

Yes, a very cute and alert duckling. The epitome of innocence... Good color scheme -- I have never seen a lily pad like that, it looks like great duck furniture!

A very harmonious shot in color range and natural color combination
he stands there like a star but still kind like naive - he gives you a nice bright side for a perfect portrait picture
excellent sharpness , contrast and lighting as well as genuine color saturation and exposure
A nice picture well framed with a good visual impression, well done

Those lily pads must be strong since the allow the duckling to move around. I like your POV. It is intriguing the bird seem to look at the viewer. The little guy seems confident. The photo is focused and has good exposure. Light and colors are realistic. Body and plumage of the duckling show refined detail. I like how the wet feathers steak out. The photo is sufficiently framed. The composition is balanced.

I can see that you have not done much editing Grace, and still this photo has a lovely painterly look, and the most fantastic colors. The duckling is ever so cute, and could not have posed for you in a Nicer way, and that lily pad looks enormous compared to the bird.

The photo is of course also Nice and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in the feathers of the duckling, and the exposure could not have been better.

The format and framing is Perfect and so is the placement of the duckling off to the left. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and With a excellent DOF.

yes cute is the operative word. he very lovely and that lilly serves as a very soft and safe foundation for him. when you see such fragile creatures you always worry for their welfare but he looks very healthy at this stage.

Thank you :) His mama was close by, and when he left the lily pad he went directly to her. It was cute!

like the use of 1/3rds, good colors and good nice framing, good capture of the little ducks eye and feathers. Lucky capture of it standing on the lilly pad, well done

So cute this little duckling. Well composed, very pleasing colours and extremely sharp to boot.
Can't fault this at all and god knows I've tried. I suspect your cloak of invisibility was at work here.
Great shot.

A very nice nature shot posted here! Yes, he does look pretty sweet out here on his lily pad. Your fine and traditional composition gives us an enjoyable look at him and his location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
