The colors in this landscape look very much like Autumn. The richness of the tones look good. I like the shape of the hills and the contrast between the their colors and the mountaintop colors. This is a very nicely composed image.

A magnificent image of September in Paxon. I am feeling the cold as I look in to this shot with the snow capped mountains, glacier in the distance, cool blue water and overcast clouds. The earthy orange colour gives it some vibrancy. Nice bit of foreground autumn foliage in the corner gives this image a lovely balance. Great clarity and focus, beautifully captured Pat.

This is another beautiful view of the lake. The colors of late autumn are excellently contradicted by the snow at the mountains and the cloudy sky. I like the dry weeds in the foreground. The weedy corner emphasizes the beautiful reflection remarkably. The photo is well focused and has impressive depth. Light and colors are realistic. The landscape is well framed. The composition is balanced.

Oh Pat, just keep clicking away. Love these type of scenes. I think you were right in having that clump of vegetation in the lower right. It anchors the picture by introducing an element to judge the scale of the total vision of the water, middle ground shoreline and the mountains in the background. Without it I can see the background kind of float along. Distant mountains need scale. Reasons for my five star vote.

I like the way the scrub in the lower right anchors the photo and helps create depth to it. The photo projects a sense of calm and serenity like a place you would want to sit, enjoy and watch the scene change as the daylight dissipates. Nice camera techniques all around.

A very nice shot of this scenic view.
It looks very moody and atmospheric. Winter is on it's way it seems but there are still some golden Autumn colours to bring a little joy into the scene.
I'm not sure about the foliage bottom right of frame, it seems to intrude into the image a little. Fine shot though of this wonderful scene.
