like the blcak background Alaska, well done on the bloom and good use of 1/3 rds., good focus on all 3, lot of other possibilities for a minimal photo with just 1 subject, other wise well done and good photo

I too really like how this image shows the three stages of the Lily flower. The pastel colors really come out due to the black background.
The softer focus enhances the look as does the cropping. This is a nice wall hanger Pat. Well done ~ Steve

Rather interesting. This photograph is almost abstract in a way. I like it. Good title too. I am sure you have noticed I rarely critique closeup photos. This is an exception simply because it draws me in to want to look closely at the three objects. This is a very pretty photograph. Reasons for my five star vote.

Oh Pat these lilies in different forms, are just beautiful. I love the pink colour and the contrast with the black background really makes these colours 'pop'. This is a beautiful composition with the three.
The beautiful petals are so clear in detail as is the centre stamens. A wonderful capture and a pleasure to view!
