TREE GHOST. Great "reaching" hair and ears; the blue dot looks like an eye, the profile on the viewer's right looks like a gnarly forehead and blunt nose dropping down to an adorable smile and dog like breast... An Ent spirit? (Lord of the Rings. lol).

    Hey Daphne'

Thank you So much for your review and Grand rating. I really like your Title "Tree Ghost". It is a great description of the image. Yes maybe it is an Ent spirit ; ) One never knows about these things. Thank you again Daphne ~ Steve

Easy! This is clearly a "Cat Sculpture In Wood"! Your fine, full and central composition gives us a good look at the cat before you. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

I would call this "Blue-eyed Bunny" because the shape looks to me like a bunny or rabbit and the color resembles the fur of those animals.
I guess that the original is some dead wood. Perhaps driftwood or an old tree stump. The textures are remarkably sharp. The creation is excellently composed and framed.

I think it should be called Your Barking up the Wrong Tree as for me it reminds me of a pug dog in this, well good texture photo though and the tight crop is also good in this...Brian

Nice shot. Frankly it reminds me of my ex wife ... only her eyes were green and not blue.
Apart from that the likeness is striking ... bear in mind that I'm working purely from memory here.

Your abstract makes me smile as this animal is so well to perceive - excellent photographic eye - super DOF contrast and lighting - I think the placement of this blue eye is fantastic - your presentation has a very strong visual impact with excellent framing , perfection in sharpness showing all the ripples and forms of the wood in perfection - a super idea and beautiful result , well done

Pre-Historic Pug!

Looks like a fierce canine species of an undetermined breed--but the wrinkles resemble that of a pug...

The blue eye makes it more exotic...

Gorgeous illumination shows details aesthetically...

It seems so hard to determine the annual rings of this antiquated wood as it grows in all directions!

Good luck to me!
Thanks for sharing...

Yes this is a rare photo of the ancient ancestor of the modern Pug. I took this during the Cretaceous Period. Kind of had to snap the photo and run! Thanks Dickson ~ Steve

'The Glamour of Evil'!
I think that title fits the image perfectly,Steve!
It's mysterious and pretty 'abstract' in itself and it'll make a viewer actually THINK about about what it might mean!
Yeah!
