This is very pretty. I like the various layers of pink, yellow, and orange clouds. I imagine you don't have to go too far to get out of the city. Very nice shot.

This is a beautiful sunrise and you captured it so well! I love the bands of color across the sky. I live in a suburb of Chicago and have the same difficulties taking sunrise and sunset photos.

Just stunning, rich sky colors and I'll bet they didn't linger for more than a few minutes. The silhouetted trees give a good anchor to the expanse of sky.

Grace, you did very well to capture this sunrise in a city environment. Having returned to Michigan from Florida a few years ago, I find myself in the same situation. The colors and tones of your sunrise are vivid and also natural. Anchoring the scene with the trees in the foreground adds interest and depth to the photograph.

Florida isn't all that shabby for sunrise and sunset, but I'd go back to Alaska at the drop of a hat.
