This is less messy than the previous eater...;-)
She's confident that she cannot eat all these berries even if other bird join in...
She seem full already, anyway...
Bright lighting.
Pin sharp focusing.
Nice framing.
Pale blue sky lends a nce contrast to the striking reds!
Thanks for sharing...

Thank you so much for the great review Dick! Yes, the birds had plenty of fruit to eat. I think some of them were just resting in the tree after their big meal.

Barbara,
A beautiful picture of this American Robin ~ Turdus Migratorius watching you from it's perch in among the red apples, the sun shining on it's breast taking some of the colour from it while catching the sparkle in it's eye & the shine on the red apples. the blue sky behind making the perfect contrasting backdrop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I really appreciate this photo because my experience is that robins in my area do NOT pose for photographers as yours did, nor have I ever seen one surrounded by so many berries. Gorgeous colors and focusing---looks like a British Christmas card.

I think this is really lovely Barbara. It has such pretty color and sharp detail of the bird. The clarity of the feathers is very attractive and I like how he is surrounded by berry-like crabapples with the nice red coloring.

This is a wonderful shot of bird sitting in the midst of his sumptuous lunch! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

The little Robin is so well captured Barbara, and I just love how it is framed by branches With crab Apples. I especially like how nicely the light is falling on the bird, and how well it is standing out from the background.

The photo is very Sharp and it is Clear and well defined details to be seen in the bird. Because of a Perfect exposure, the high light in the bird's eye is standing out so well, and the colors are crisp and Clear.

The format is very good and the bird has got a very fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and With a very good DOF.

Perhaps it is due to global warming but the robins tend to stay in Michigan all winter and they flock to crabapple trees by the dozens in the coldest weather. A very fine shot with good composition and sharp details.

A quite nice nature photo posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of your robin and it's location. Bet he is confused as to which berry to eat first! Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!
