Hi Annie, I would have thought this was an ivory ornament too! I can't even imagine wanting to light this beautiful candle, it's gorgeous!! Love the design of it. I think the hotel owner was very lucky to have you photograph her finds. I don't think anyone could have shown this off better. Love the accessories you added too! Simply Beautiful! :o) Nancy

This is a lovely vignette. I too thought the candle was made of bone. I like the plumeria blossoms and the pearls. They give this a very Art Deco appeal.

Very well photographed in good lighting, sharp focus, and outstanding details and clarity in your image. I like your off center placement and with your touch of pearls and flowers. Your post-processing always done with thought and finesse. Your play with light and shadows is perfect. I hope you give the hotel owner a copy of this image :) It is truly beautiful. You have accentuated the color and the texture of the candle holder in such an attractive way. The flowers have nice texture too and I like how the pearls mimic the colors and appear to be reflecting the light. The flame is well captured too.

Very interesting and unique design for a candle. I like the soft glow caused by the candle. Natural colors and tones in the scene. Good lighting, sharp focus, good DoF, and well balanced photo and nicely composed in the frame. Overall, a very beautiful Photograph, well done.

A very nice shot. I like the composition with the pearls and flowers. I like the detail in the candle holder and the very fine colors but think those fractal inclusions are a bit bright for this set up.
