I love bluish overtone!
An artistic capture.
If that weird but cute name is read or heard by Filipinos, you'll
surely see them smiling or a bit embarrassed as it sounds like the male genetalia in our dialect....;-)
Monochromatic colors save for that radiant spot behind the dramatic clouds.
Excellent details & features. Impressive setting & textures.

Thanks for sharing...

Blue is my favorite color so I think I would be very happy at this hour! Wowzers!
That bit of light shining down offering nice fractal light on the water, those clouds, Mist and blue hue are magical.
Peaceful and BLUEtiful Pat ;)

I watch so much Alaska on tv that I almost feel I know it a little bit. Therefore I can just imagine this lake and the growling, crowding darkened skies over it. It fits with the several : living in Alaska programs I watch. In another world, that is where I would have liked to have been born or taken to, though I read some books some years ago of the gold rush and the crimes it created, some never solved. I had a broken leg. When I am sick in any way, I heal with tea and books, rather than painting. It boosts my mind storage up for a while as I read any old paper backs I can get hold of - I must tell you something else, my degree was in literature, but some of those paper backs are gold mines of all sorts of info. I often try to get the Writers' Group I have run for years to get to grips with them. Generally they don't. I think if I lived in Alaska, I would read and paint all winter when the skies are darkened!

The gloomy colors are impressive. Although, there streams sunlight through the clouds, The dark sky seems threatening. A storm seems to brew. The last gleam of light at the water is interesting. The landscape is well exposed and has good depth. Light and colors are realistic. The photo is well framed. The composition is balanced.

I like how this time of day accentuates the blues in the environment. The clouds are so dramatic and pretty in this scene and the glittering shine of the water looks nice.

I love the blue hour! This is such a lovely and peaceful scene. All the different shades of blue are beautiful. I like how the sunlight is shining through the break in the clouds.

I like this study in blue. This type of scene makes the artist or the photographer really study the dark, light, and varying mid tones of a scene. The patch of golden sunlight peaking from the blue clouds and casting a light shadow across the blue water is a pleasing contrast.
